Lanarkshire SOURCE magazine

Lanarkshire SOURCE magazine

Lanarkshire is the source of business news

The first issue of a free Lanarkshire business e-zine is set to hit the inboxes of more than 6,000 people as it launches today.

Lanarkshire's Source, a new online publication designed and created by 2Fluid Creative Ltd that profiles news and features about Lanarkshire companies and business people will be sent directly to investors and influencers throughout Scotland. The magazine is exclusively produced in Our online page turning software 'Libretto V2.0'.

The first issue features Lanarkshire entrepreneur John Boyle - whose business interests include Hamilton Portfolio, Zoom Airways and Motherwell Football Club. Boyle gives his views on public sector intervention, his recent £330 million investment at Eurocentral and why he wouldn't last a minute on business reality shows such as Dragon's Den or The Apprentice!

Produced by the Lanarkshire Brand and Communications Project (LBCP), the e-zine is supported by Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire and North and South Lanarkshire Councils and will be produced bi-monthly.

It is part of a marketing and communications portfolio aimed at attracting mobile investment and encouraging decision-makers and opinion formers to learn more about the successful Scottish region.

Louisa Mahon, Brand Manager, LBCP said: "The e-zine has been designed to fill a gap in the market for bespoke news and information about the region. We want to spread the message that Lanarkshire is a successful and fun place to work, visit, live and invest in."

She continued: "The LBCP has built up an excellent portfolio of materials to showcase Lanarkshire's strengths, including a DVD, web portal - http://www.lanarkshire.com/ - and photography to update Lanarkshire's visual imagery. We believe Lanarkshire is a source of many great things, including its people, its transport connections and investment opportunities and that the e-zine will complement efforts already being made to positively influence perceptions of the area."
