Reverb Magazine has been named PPA’s BEST MAGAZINE in the small publishing house category at Scottish Magazine Awards 2007.The event, which took place in Edinburgh’s Dynamic Earth and was hosted by Carol Smillie, saw the biggest names in the publishing industry gather together to honour excellence in the magazine world.
Reverb, the official magazine of Sound Control, The UK’s Number 1 Musical Instrument Retailer, was nominated alongside some sterling publications in this highly contested category.
Reverb Editor Mark Flanagan said: "Winning this award has really underlined the incredible amount of work that goes into producing an issue of Reverb, and brings justified recognition to the fantastic team of regular contributors that help make it much more than just a customer magazine. Not to mention the sterling efforts of our deputy editor and designer, without whom this magazine simply wouldn't be possible. Just goes to show you what can be achieved when you have the right people in place."
Reverb is a UK national music magazine that covers the full spectrum of music making, from in depth interviews with the artists who make the music to the latest equipment on the market.
